Academy of Glam is not a school of beauty, we are a beauty movement!

Our fun, hands-on tutorials are non-traditional; we've thrown out the books and usual lesson plans. In fact, our most important tools are not our brushes, they are ourselves. We believe that beauty starts within and radiates out. We believe you can only learn the dance steps so long before you need to get out and dance!

Academy of Glam is NOT a vocational school, but a power program for inspiring makeup artists to master state-of-the-art techniques and artistic flow. Artists cultivate their true potential while developing strength, confidence, presence, and a portfolio that sets them apart from the others. 

• We believe that great artists make great makeup artists. We promote the appreciation of art, light, and dimension. We encourage practicing sketching, to see through the eyes of a real artist, and learn the artists’ flow. We marvel in museums for inspiration.
• We believe the best way to feel comfortable and confident as an artist is to be one - PERIOD. We recreate real, on location photoshoots, time constraints, on-set problems, models, photographers.  You want it - we've got it.

• We start and end each day with the pep, personality, and approach of our founder, Victoria Duke. We believe that after one visit to the Academy of Glam, you'll feel the Victoria Effect. It's about a whole new outlook on life.
